Description:	This concert will interweave sacred choral masterpieces with contemporary compositions. It will commence with Arvo Part's ethereal Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis, showcasing his minimalist tintinnabuli style and profound spiritual depth. These pieces, reflecting Mary's joyous praise and Simeon's serene acceptance, will set a contempletive tone. Transitioning to Zoltan Kodaly's Missa Brevis, compsed amidst World War II, the work resonates with Hungarian folk influences and Roman Catholic gradneur, offering a dramatic contrast with Part's simplicity through its rich harmonies and robust choral writing. Alongside these classics, new choral compositions will debut, enriching the dialogue between past and present, tradition and innovation, in an exploration of timeless themes through the lens of contemporary choral expression.
